Last month, we shared the exciting news of the renovation journey unfolding at our shelter property in Hillsboro. The project is gaining momentum and progressing according to plan, but as with any ambitious endeavor, there's still much ground to cover and funding needed to bring this vision to life.
This revitalized facility will serve as a haven for some of our community's most vulnerable families, providing refuge and support to those who are medically fragile, survivors of domestic violence, or navigating complex challenges.
However, we can't do this alone.
We're reaching out to our community of compassionate partners, to help us secure the remaining funds necessary to complete this vital project.
We're seeking nearly $60,000 to put towards the final stages of the Hillsboro Family Shelter Renovation Project, specifically focusing on essential repairs for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
With the support of our dedicated construction partners and project management team, these renovations can be swiftly executed, allowing us to stay on track for our grand reopening slated for July 2024.
If you're passionate about making a tangible difference in the lives of families in housing crisis and want to learn more about how you can join us in this meaningful endeavor, please reach out to Lanndhese Talice at info@fpgwc.org or call 971-217-8949.
Together, we are the key to the house that hope built.
