What We Do

Family Promise helps local communities coordinate their compassion to address the root causes of family homelessness. We address the issue holistically, providing prevention services before families reach crisis, shelter and case management when they become homeless, and stabilization programs once they have secured housing to ensure they remain independent. We tap existing local resources to empower families towards economic stability. Families come to us in crisis; we help them rebuild their lives with new skills and ongoing support.

Prevention

We help families stay in their homes through rental assistance, transportation support, and targeted case management. Programs like Shelter Diversion and emergency financial support help ensure families remain housed and avoid entering the shelter system.

Emergency Shelter

For families who have lost their housing, our shelter program offers immediate safety and stability. Families are welcomed into one of our shelter sites while working closely with a case manager to navigate employment, housing, and long-term goals.
